Flake Off White is a 48″ x 72″ rectified porcelain with an off-white terrazzo-and-stone visual — small flecks over a soft white base — in a matte finish. 46.5 sq ft per box, 22 boxes per 1,000 sq ft.
A 600 sq ft bathroom-and-kitchen package takes 15 boxes with 10% overage for cuts. Install with a leveling-clip system and a 1/16″ (1.5 mm) grout joint using a large-format polymer-modified mortar (ANSI A118.4); back-butter each tile. The matte surface is suitable for interior floors, walls and covered outdoor areas.
A bright, modern alternative to white marble for large open spaces that want texture without veining. The flecked pattern hides dust, crumbs and scuffs better than any plain white tile, which makes it a practical choice for busy kitchens, retail floors, cafés, galleries and co-working spaces. It also makes a striking full-height shower or feature wall with almost no grout lines. Suits Scandinavian, modern and mid-century interiors. Needs a flat substrate, a leveling system and two installers; use a light gray or off-white grout.
