Carbon Beige is our largest tile: a 48″ x 72″ rectified porcelain with a warm beige concrete-and-stone look in a matte finish. One tile covers about 23 sq ft; two tiles per box cover 46.5 sq ft, and a 1,000 sq ft floor takes just 22 boxes.
A 600 sq ft bathroom-and-kitchen package takes 15 boxes with 10% overage for cuts. Install with a leveling-clip system and a 1/16″ (1.5 mm) grout joint using a large-format polymer-modified mortar (ANSI A118.4); back-butter each tile. The matte surface is suitable for interior floors, walls and covered outdoor areas.
Built for statement floors and walls — great rooms, feature walls behind TVs and fireplaces, restaurant and hotel lobbies, showroom floors and high-end commercial entries. The near-seamless look is the point: very few grout lines and a continuous, monolithic surface. It works with modern, industrial and wabi-sabi interiors and with black, walnut or white cabinetry. Handling requires two installers and a suction-cup frame; the substrate must be flat to within 1/8″ over 10 feet. Order 10–15% overage; a single broken tile costs more than the cut waste it replaces.
