A 1,200 sq ft job in 7" x 48" takes 54 boxes with 7% cut waste; add 10% for rooms with angles or a herringbone layout. Zero acclimation is required: boxes can go from our Orlando warehouse to the floor the same day.
Best for cabins, lake houses, vacation rentals and any space going for a lived-in look. The variation hides scratches and wear patterns far better than a uniform plank, which is why property managers use it for short-term rentals that get hard use between cleanings. It pairs well with exposed beams, shiplap, black metal fixtures and leather. Lay it with a random stagger of at least 8″ so the knots do not line up. For heavy commercial traffic, look at Amber Oak in 28 mil instead.
